FontAudition Desktop support.
For FontAudition Desktop, include your macOS version, the app version from FontAudition › About FontAudition, and what you were doing when the problem happened. If it involves fonts kept on a drive or a server, tell us where they live — an external disk, a NAS, or a file server.
Fonts on a drive or server are not appearing
Fonts kept outside your system font folders are added as font sources. Open Manage Font Sources (Command-O), add the folder, and connect it. If a source is listed as offline, mount the drive or server and use Reconnect All. macOS asks for permission the first time you add a folder — if that prompt was dismissed, forget the source and add it again so macOS can ask once more.
Where installed fonts end up
Fonts you install from FontAudition — including Google Fonts — are installed for the whole system, not just for FontAudition. They appear in Font Book and in every app on your Mac. To remove one, right-click it in the grid and choose Delete, or remove it in Font Book.
Wanted FontAudition inside Final Cut Pro?
That is a different app. FontAudition Desktop is a standalone Mac app and does not appear in the Final Cut Pro Window menu. To audition fonts without leaving Final Cut Pro, you want FontAudition WFE, a workflow extension that opens inside Final Cut Pro.
